My favorite character

Hello my friends! I know that you are waiting for this moment. Like every Tuesday, I will write a new post here. Today I'm going to talk about my favorite character. In this case, Oliver Atom.

Since I was child, I love the soccer, so when I discovered Super Champions, an anime about this sport, I feel that was the best day of my life. This serie is about a boy, called Oliver Atom, who plays soccer whit his friends and his dream is be a professional soccer player.

First, he plays in his school's team, but whit big effort Oliver was select for the team of his state and finally also he was nominated for the national team of Japan, his country. For his good matches, after Atom plays in Brancos of Brasil and Catalonia of Spain.

The better thing about Oliver is that he is not just a excellent soccer player, because he also is a very good person, whit nice principles and whit much love for his friends and family. Is a good example for the boys that watchs this serie.

Something freak about Super Champions is what some people says about Oliver. Is a rumor that say that all the career of Oliver is just a dream, because in the reality he was run over for a car when he was playing soccer in the street when he was child. And, the most sad thing, he lose his legs in the accident. But I prefer think that is just a bad joke, haha.

Well, is all for today my people. Enjoy this halloween and remember comment my post.

Bye!

Five years in the university are much time, but I think that is important study all time for be a better professional. I'm studying Journalism, so I think that is better take a postgraduate studie about this subject.

If you read the first post of this blog, you know that I love Argentina and Buenos Aires. So I would like study Specialization in Journalism in University of Buenos Aires.

I love the sports, specially soccer, and in the other side of the Los Andes Mountains, the people love soccer, and the sports journalism is very important. They have newspaper and channels of TV only about sports! So, what country better than Argentina for study?

The postgraduate in UBA is for two years. So, like I will stay in other country, I will need win money for living there. For this, I prefer a part-time course, for study in the morning and work in the evening.

The Wind That Shakes The Barley Review

Hi my dear friends! I’m here again like all Thursdays with a new post. I hope that you enjoy it!

Today I’m going to write about a film that we seen in the English class with the teacher Benjy. The name of this film is “The wind that shakes the barley”, directed by Ken Loach.

The film tells the story about the war between Ireland and United Kingdom for their independence and also, it is based in the case of two brothers: Damien and Teddy O’Donnovan.

Damien is a revolutionary and he is still fighting in the IRA (Irish Republican Army), but Teddy prefers to accept the agreement and leave the fight, so they will be fight in the Irish Civil War.

I liked this film a lot because I like when the films show war stories, and the story of the Irland and the IRA is very interesting. Besides, the film doesn’t have a happy ending, so it is different to the other movies.

My favorite character is Damien O’Donnovan, because he changed his idea of be a doctor at the service of the British, to be a revolutionary and fight for the people of his country.

My favorite scene is the last, when Teddy has to kill his brother Damien. Is very sad to see how he cry when he instructs the soldiers to shoot, but is an example of the civil war that the Irish must have fought.

Well, this is all for today. See you the next week for a new post. See you soon!

My future job

Good evening my friends and dears readers of this blog. Like every week, is hour of a new post. Today, I'm going to talk about my future job.

Now, I'm studyng Journalism in University of Chile. I am in the fourth year.

So, in a few years, maybe I will be working in a national newspapper, like La Tercera. I love the sports, especially soccer, so I want work as sports journalist. I imagine me going to the differents stadiums every weekend for see the matches of the national tournament and doing interviews to the soccer's players.

So, is this a job outdoor or indoors? I think that both. In the week the journalist work in a office writing news and in the weekend his job is in the pitch.

The better thing of this job is that you can travel around the world for work in the international events sports, like Olympic Games, World's Cup, Champios League or Libertadores Cup.

I kown that in journalism the salaries are not good, but I think that some things are more important that the money. The experience of travel for the world or know international athletes is most important that have more or less cash.

Well, is all for today. See you the next week for a new post in the best ICEI's class: English 4 with the teacher Benjy!

Bye.

Jimmy´s Hall Review

Hello my dears friends and readers of this wonderful blog! Like every Tuesday I'm going to write a new post. In this ocation is about a very nice movie: Jimmy's Hall.

Jimmy's Hall is a British movie directed by Ken Loach. I really loved this film because I prefer the movies about the History of the differents countrys, with their culture and politics things. I hate the fantastics films!

My favorite character is obviously James Gralton, also known as Jimmy. He is a young person that love the music, especially jazz, and with good ideas for the town and his neighbors.

One thing that I liked about the film is that has very good music: jazz! The scene when all the people was dancing happy was very nice for me. Also, one thing that I didn't like about Jimmy's Hall is that Jimmy is not a politic person, but the priest and the aristocrats said that he was a communist just for his hall.

My favorite scene was when the father in the church said that the Hall is a bad place, because the people just think in dance African music and politics ideas, like Communism and not it the Irish and catholics values. So, you can understand that the majorie of religious people feels fear about the differences.

Well, is all for today. Good week for all of you, see you son.
Bye my friend and let's go Chile today! We are going to the World Cup!
